Join us for a transformative full day of hands-on learning and communal homesteading women fun at the Lady 'Steaders weekend intensive homestead event in the breathtaking Hocking Hills region of Ohio on October 25 sponsored by Heritage Skills USA. This event is especially for women who are passionate about homesteading, foraging, natural remedies, sustainability, canning, butchering, and raising their own food, and permaculture and are eager to deepen their skills and knowledge in an inspiring and empowering environment - making them far more prepared for uncertain times.
You must purchase an admission ticket to attend classes. Class registration tickets are open now, more courses will be added throughout the summer.
Your receipt will serve as your admission ticket and class registration. Instructors will also have a roster of students who registered for their classes.

You will register for individual classes prior to the Lady 'Steaders homesteading gathering. Some classes carry an additional fee above the general admission ticket price because they are a make and take style course that sends you home with a finished product or a kit to use on your homestead.

By purchasing a ticket you agree to our terms of service. If you do not understand or agree with our terms of service, please do not purchase a ticket to attend. No refunds will be given. Tickets are transferrable, meaning you can sell them to anyone you wish if you are ultimately unable to attend. The terms of service still apply, regardless of who purchases, holds, or uses the ticket. Some of the classes are indoors and some are outside. Rain will not cancel the event - dress appropriately. In the case of lightening or other severe weather, only the indoor activities will continue, with as many outdoor activities moved indoors as possible. If the inclement weather passes before the end of the event, outdoor activities will resume as scheduled.

The American history home schooling field trip will take place from 9 am to 5 pm at the Vinton County Fairgrounds Fern Kruger Building and outdoor areas, on October25, 2024 - and includes an off-site Amish Farm Tour and wagon ride Experience too!
